To Die for Dessert!

I love ice cream sandwiches and banana splits so when I saw this recipe I knew it would be a hit! The bottom layer of this frozen dessert is ingenious-why didn't I think of this?

After a few more layers of banana slices, hot fudge, caramel, cherries, strawberries, Cool Whip with pineapple, topped with crushed Butterfinger candy bars! I am dying to try this recipe, Frozen Banana Split Squares from Our Best Bites blog.

I bought all of the ingredients for this dessert last night and put it all together. I was so excited to share it with someone, but then I realized the recipe said it needed to be put in the freezer for 4 hours- Dang! Now it is waiting in the freezer!

P.S. Tiff's Tips: I just tasted this dessert. I didn't like how the ice cream sandwiches didn't freeze very hard, but yet the whip cream topping was very solid. Next time I would just make each serving individually on a plate with all the toppings and eat it right away.
