I Wish it was Tuesday

Why do I wish it was Tuesday?  Because on Tuesday at Johnny Carino's they have a great lunch special.  On that weekday, it is buy one get one free with the pronto pasta selections.  The pasta dish comes with soup or salad and endless bread.  I love dipping their bread into the olive oil and garlic, it's so yummy.  It's a great day to meet up with a friend or have a little date with your husband while the kids are in school.

I have been their once with Paul and then on several occasions with friends.  Anyone want to meet me for lunch next week?

Get away!

Paul and I are getting away tonight - thanks to Tisha and David! We are staying at the Anniversary Inn - in Sleeping Beauty's room. Oh, it will be nice just to get away and especially wake up without worrying about the kids.

We didn't do anything really big to celebrate our 15 year anniversary - so we decided to do this. It is a rare treat to have some time to ourselves.

Take advantage of the Anniversary Inn's specials - don't pay full price. We booked the room yesterday and got it for $119 (plus tax) instead of $289. It doesn't pay to book far in advance, you don't get the great deals.

Dance Lessons

Friday night we attend dance lessons with Jen and Ken Merrill (lifelong friends). Jen told me that their stake was teaching dance lessons for the three Fridays before their Valentines Dance. Paul and I decided that it would be fun to join them. We learned how to waltz and swing. Every step was broken down so it wasn't too hard to learn - Paul and I are excited to go back. Our ward is also having a Valentines Dinner and Dance - I'm excited to actually dance because we will know what we are doing (in the past I have always dreaded these sorts of things because I feel like a fool)! Paul and I laughed and laughed as we were learning...it's going to take us a lot of practice. Paul's right hand was supposed to be on my by back by my shoulder blade to help guide me....but I kept finding his hand all over the place. It inched it's way up to my arm pit and on my side. I had to keep reminding him where it should be! I think we were both concentrating too hard on our feet! I'll keep you posted on our progress.
