This is my new purse. I saw it at Fred Meyers (on sale, of course) and it was love at first sight. I love the color, plus it holds a lot of stuff!

Purse Test: Okay, here is the photo of the items in my purse - 2 lip glosses, hair clip, keys, scissors, pen w/ no lid, cell phone cover, a bill, a closing statement, pack of kleenex and my stuffed wallet (it's too full to snap shut). Luckily, I cleaned out my purse Monday at the doctor's office - so that's why there aren't a bunch of receipts, expired coupons, and trash!

I thought a few items should be added to my purse including: 2 capped pens and sharpie marker, two granola bars (so I don't get tempted when I'm hungry), a nail file, a ponytail holder, bandaids, floss, hand sanitizer, my phone, a notebook, mints, and gum.

Fun Shoe Store

Today we bought some new ballet shoes for Olivia at Little Feet. It was the cutest store. I found the cutest socks ever that looked like Mary Jane shoes (take a look below). I asked her if I could take a picture.... and then I took a few more. I just love little shoes. Check it out! They boast themselves on having the largest selection of children's shoes in the valley.

Cents of Style

About 4 years ago, Andy Paige from Cents of Style came to Boise, Idaho. I was lucky enough to attend one of her seminars and a cosmetic coaching class (I think I need to brush up on this - it's been a while). I knew Andy from the show "Starting Over" that was aired for three seasons and then dropped (even though it was a hit)- a show that I absolutely loved and watched daily at noon (I recorded many of the shows and still have them). I felt privileged to actually spend some time with her. I offered to help at one of her events and she gave me a beautiful turquoise necklace, earrings, and bracelet as a gift. She is an amazing woman - check out her website she sells the coolest accessory suites. You will glean lots of info. about how to look your best without spending lots of money! I have received her newsletter for years. Oh, and her makeup brushes for $50 are the best thing ever. If you don't have any, these are a MUST. I just saw her the other day on TLC's show "Ten Years Younger" - which I watched at the gym because we don't have cable.....boo hoo.

Where do you shop?

We had a big weekend with lots of family in town for Corbin's ordination - he is now a deacon! (I will save that for another post). Mom ended up staying the night so she could go shopping today in the big town of Boise! I rearranged my schedule so that I could join in the fun along with her and Tisha. Anyway, we had big plans of finding Mom some cute clothes since Burley has nothing. We went everywhere and found NOTHING! I didn't even find anything for me. We were all disappointed - so we ended with a late lunch at Cheesecake Factory to cheer us up. So my big question is where do you find clothes? I have an especially more difficult time finding tall jeans and longer tops (longer torso, too!)- I would like a nice pair of dark denim jeans that are straight leg (no boot cut) and some nice skirts, tops, and jackets. I need everything - my closet is suffering. I have looked at Gap, Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, the Mall, etc. It seems that most of the clothes we saw today were of poor fabric quality, or immodest, too short (even tops), ugly, etc. I am looking for some nice quality, tailored, classic and fun clothes with good prices. Can it be found?
