Fun Blog: Givers Log

I have been wanting to share a fun blog with you titled Givers Log, which I was told about from her mother (whom I use to visit at the gym during my good ol' gym days before we moved).  This blog has creative gift giving ideas for any recipient, delicious recipes, organizational tips, and much more. Who would have thought you could mail an Easter egg?  I would love one filled with dark chocolate!  Here are her tips for this.

If you know me, you know that I love hot chocolate.  I drink it regularly during the winter months and I keep my fridge stocked with a variety of creamer flavors (love the coconut right now!)  Amber has a tutorial of how to make hot chocolate on a stick, click here.  She now has opened up a shop called The Ticket Kitchen in which we sells this same thing.

I love this idea of a gift wrap center.  I love her inexpensive ideas to re-purpose items such as pizza boxes and plastic salad containers from Costco (I have to admit I re-use those also- if you don't, save them for me).

Cute Wreath with Rolled Fabric Tutorial - 16 days 'til Christmas

I think this is an adorable wreath with the rolled fabric flowers.  I have been wanting to do this since our Relief Society's Fabulous Friday (like Super Saturday - a craft night) but I wasn't able to take any classes because I was busy helping with three.  At Our Best Bites there is a great tutorial for making the rolled flowers.  I have seen these flowers on headbands, on scriptures bags, practically anywhere - they are a great accessory!

Fabulous Friday Craft Night

Last night was our Fabulous Friday (also known as Super Saturday) at the church making all sorts of fun crafts.  We had a great turn out and the ladies had a great time visiting, eating, and creating. I helped with the magnets, the stamped mini-cards, the pendant banner, and the hot chocolate cones.  Many ladies made cute girls skirts and aprons - I even saw many of them completely finished!  They also made adorable hair accessories, and etched glass pans. 

Halloween Paper Dolls & Printables

Couple More Crafts - Which One?

This is a Christmas countdown chalkboard that I saw at Craft Warehouse. It looks fun, cute and festive.

I found this idea on www.splitcoaststampers.com. It is hot cocoa with chocolate and marshmallows on top. Here is a link for the instructions.

Super Saturday Ideas Part 1

l love this glass etched Triffle dish. I one identical to this, except mine is plain. Now I am going to jazz it up with a cool design. Also I want to add my name to the bottom of my glass Pyrex baking dishes and then add a fun design to the sides. How cute!

Crafts and More

I am having fun in my clean craft room (post here)! I made this birthday card that has a pop-up birthday cake inside. It was my first attempt at using this new die-cut that works with my Big Shot (post here and here). I look forward to making more!

The girls like to craft with me. They are hooked on the Making Memories Slice machine. They made several tags that they are going to write notes on for friends.

This past week they have been attending a summer camp put on by a couple girls from church. Wednesday was princess day - they made crowns, painted their fingernails, ate snacks on china and played games. They are having a great time.
