I Wish it was Tuesday

Why do I wish it was Tuesday?  Because on Tuesday at Johnny Carino's they have a great lunch special.  On that weekday, it is buy one get one free with the pronto pasta selections.  The pasta dish comes with soup or salad and endless bread.  I love dipping their bread into the olive oil and garlic, it's so yummy.  It's a great day to meet up with a friend or have a little date with your husband while the kids are in school.

I have been their once with Paul and then on several occasions with friends.  Anyone want to meet me for lunch next week?

Ono Hawaiian Cafe - a little bit of Hawaii

Last night we had the opportunity to do a restaurant review for Ono Hawaiian Cafe (thanks to Krazy Coupon Lady) with Ryan and Alysia. Paul and I have been here before and enjoyed their Hawaiian cuisine so of course, we were thrilled for a date night. We enjoyed the buffet dinner which normally costs $21 per person - I thought that price was a little high. In all, I give this restaurant four out of five stars. Try out this restaurant by using a coupon from restaurant.com for even a greater deal. For lunch, I have ordered "Kanack Attack" which is grilled teriyaki chicken (my favorite), Kalua pig, and grilled teriyaki steak, served with three scoops of coconut infused rise (yummy) all for $14.00
