BSU Football season begins with a win! Paul and I were listening to the game on the radio while we were cleaning out the garage and the kids were riding bikes. Off the bat the score was 17-0 (BSU leading). We had a great start but then next thing I hear is that VA Tech is leading us by one point! After we got the children in bed, we snuck over to the Richaels to watch the last quarter of the game. It wasn't looking good, with only a couple minutes in the game we needed to score.
That is when Jody told us about the blue turf that Craig was given from the BSU field. They replaced the blue turf this year because of the complaints of the glare. Craig was given a 18" by 18" (or so) piece of turf which he placed it on the floor in front of the coach. Then the guys began rubbing the turf with a foot for good luck and that is when the game began to change in our favor! (I wish I had a picture to show you).We told him to keep that turf in a safe place for the next game!
Once again we celebrate a win 33-30! We have been undefeated for two years straight, let's keep it up.
